Roasted Soybeans
Soybeans are an exceptional source of essential nutrients. They are a natural and important source of body-building protein, vitamins, minerals, and high-energy oils in many animal feeds.
Roasting prior to feeding is the best way to maximize their potential.
+ Increases digestibility.
+ Increases bypass protein.
+ Kills trypsin inhibitors.
Dairy farmers report higher butterfat, increased milk production on less feed, reduced acidosis, decrease in vet & hoof trimming costs, and healthier calves.
Pork producers report that their hogs are finishing 2-3 weeks sooner on less feed.
Maximize your herd's Genetic Potential!
Roasted Corn
The roasting of corn destroys mold and reduces micro-toxins to tolerable levels. Herbicide carryover, microscopic mold, and fungus are greatly reduced.
Roasting corn increases available energy by 10%. Roasting ruptures the wall of the starch cells making the starch water soluble. This is called gelatinization. The gelatinization of starch makes it more digestible, thereby increasing the feed efficiency.
Roasted Barley
Roasting barley ruptures the kernel making it easier to grind and easier to digest. Roasting increases digestibility by breaking down the cell structure within the grain so it will be readily available to the animal.
Also great for the Micro-Brewing Industry!
Roasted Wheat
Roasted wheat is a good source of starch for energy and a moderate source of protein that is highly digestible.

"My grandfather, LeRoy Clark, originally designed a roasting auger for his row-crop and hog operation in the early 1970’s. He raised corn and soybeans and was able to feed his farm-raised and roasted grains to his hogs to lower his feeding costs and add value to his row-crops. My dad, Fred Clark, further improved the design and built his own roaster in 1998 to produce roasted soybeans for his family’s poultry operation...”
